Sustainable, Non-Toxic Nail Salons In London

Discover sustainable, eco-friendly, non-toxic nail salons in London that offer a luxury service. Pampering with no nasties and consideration for the planet.

I was prompted to write a blog about this after my partner really struggled to an eco-friendly nail salon for my 40th birthday. I personally hate having to give up on life’s luxuries in order to have a more eco-friendly experience, but I accept it’s part of my lifestyle choice. However, London is finally starting to cater to luxury and sustainability-conscious folks.

I have created a Sustainable Shopping Map to showcase the hot spots in London where sustainable shopping & services are possible, you can see the locations of the Sustainable Nail Salons featured below on my map.

The Aveda SUSTAINABLE Lifestyle Salon & Spa

Aveda Nail Bar, London (Image source: aveda.co.uk)

The Aveda Lifestyle Salon & Spa is designed for those wanting exceptional hair and beauty treatments. Aveda is a known brand that takes the environmental impact of what they do into consideration.
You can book the nail bar in Covent Garden and enjoy its idyllic setting. The website offers extensive information about many services but it is not clear what products are used for nail polishes.

They do mention ‘shellac’ treatments but don’t refer to any plant-based, non-toxic nail polishes. For now, until I hear back from them, I cannot confirm. It would be unusual for this pioneering brand to offer a nail salon and services that aren’t non-toxic. Their whole approach is about using naturally derived ingredients whenever possible. I hope it’s just an oversight on their website.
